Received this in the mail, author unk to me

My fellow Americans:As you all know, the defeat of Iraq's regime has been completed.  Since congress does not want to spend any more money on this war, our mission in Iraq is complete. This morning I gave the order for a complete removal of all American forces from Iraq.  This action will be complete within 30 days.It is now time to begin the reckoning.  Before me, I have two lists. One list contains the names of countries which have stood by our side during the Iraq conflict. This list is short.  The United Kingdom,Spain, Bulgaria, Australia, and Poland are some of the countries listed there. The other list contains everyone not on the first list.  Most of theworld's nations are on that list.  My press secretary will bedistributing copies of both lists later this evening.Let me start by saying that effective immediately, foreign aid to those nations on List 2 ceases immediately and indefinitely.  The money saved during the first year alone will pretty much pay for the costs of the Iraqi war.The American people are no longer going to pour money into third world hell-holes and watch those government leaders grow fat on corruption.Need help with a famine?  Wrestling with an epidemic?  Call France.  In the future, together with Congress, I will work to redirect this  money toward solving the vexing social problems we still have at home.On that note, a word to terrorist organizations.  Screw with us and we will hunt you down and eliminate you and all your friends from the face of the earth.  Thirsting for a gutsy country to terrorize?  Try France, or maybe China. To Israel and the Palestinian Authority.  Yo, boys. Work out a peacedeal now.  Just note that Camp David is closed.  Maybe all of you can go to Russia for negotiations...  They have some great palaces there.  Big tables, too.I'm ordering the immediate severing of diplomatic relations with France, Germany, and Russia.  Thanks for all your help, comrades.  We are retiring from NATO as well.  Bon chance, mes amis.I have instructed the Mayor of New York City to begin towing the many UN diplomatic vehicles located in Manhattan with more than two unpaid tickets to sites where those vehicles will be stripped, shredded and crushed.  I don't care about whatever treaty pertains to this.  Pay your tickets tomorrow or watch your precious Benzes, Beamers, and limos be turned over to some of the finest chop shops in the world.  I love New York.A special note to our neighbors...  Canada is on List 2.  Since we aregoing to be seeing a lot more of each other, you folks might want to try not pissing us off for a change...  Mexico is also on List 2.  President Fox and his entire corrupt government really need an attitude adjustment.  I have a couple extra tank and infantry divisions sitting around.  Guess where I'm gonna put 'em?  Yep, border security.  So start doing something with your oil.  Oh, by the way, the United States is abrogating the NAFTA treaty - starting now.It is time for America to focus on its own welfare and its own citizens. Some will accuse us of isolationism.  I answer them by saying darntootin'.  Nearly a century of trying to help folks live a decent lifearound the world has only earned us the undying enmity of just about everyone on the planet. It is time to eliminate hunger in America.  It is time to eliminatehomelessness in America.  It is time to eliminate World Cup soccer from America. To the nations on List 1, a final thought.  Thanks guys.  We owe you.To the nations on List 2, a final thought.  Drop dead.God bless America.Thank you and good night.

I am Afraid!

Now don't get me wrong. I have stared down the business end of a couple of pistolies, even disarmed a bad guy or two. I've fought against multiple assailants and managed to survive................................................................ I am scared of a good woman! Now is that silly?
I've  had the honor and privilege to begin to date a lovely, classy woman, of good moral character. It is amazing, the fear that hovers just below the surface just waiting for the most inopportune time to overwhelm me and make a complete ass of myself. I feel like a freshman in high school, trying to get the courage up to ask for the first date!
Her daughter and my daughter went to school together and grew up in the neighborhood we still live in. My wife died 5July 2000 of cancer. Her husband died a few years ago of cancer. Anyway, her daughter contacted my daughter and they began to feel each of us out, to see if their might be any mutual interest. (wordy huh?) This is a beautiful thing, for the children to pick someone for you, and to have mutual interest.
Oh yes, I knew her husband and she knew my wife. They were both top shelf people.
I don't know where this will take me. I like the feelings I am having. I do know that this will be a slow relationship to  develope. I do not want to be blinded by any distractions and don't want anyone hurt. So, I'll leave it to God, he brought me this far and I don't see any reason to change drivers now!

Found a cure for the traffic in Atlanta!

I first came to Atlanta in the late 60's. It was too big for this ole country boy back then! Well, if you've been here in five o'clock traffic or even 8am traffic, you know how bad it is...........The simple solution is...........use a turn signal to move to another lane and watch the SOB speed up to block you! If we could get the ones at the head of the line to use their turn signal, everyone would speed up and the traffic would move faster. See how simple it is!

Happy and busy!

Don't have as much time to post. Seems my professional and personal life are becoming filled with the things I need to be happy. As a self employed contractor it is indeed a joy to be very busy. As a man, no make that a hu-man, it is a feeling of contentment, the feeling that being alone is ok. At some point, I'll go back and write what I have felt over the past four + years and bring my self up to speed. Thank you God! Thank you friends! Thanks to my family, I think I will make it!

Date with a classy woman

I am happy to report, that I have just returned from a dinner date with a woman of good character. Her husband had passed away a few years ago from cancer as my wife had 4 years ago. Our children have played date maker for us and both of our daughters were in attendance as were my 2 grand daughters. I knew her husband and he was a fine man. She knew my wife who was angel and a fine woman. I was apprehensive. I was actually afraid. I did not want to talk about what we had in common. She also had the same fears, as reported by the daughters. I had forgotten what it was to be in the presence (on a date) of a real, classy, mannerly woman. It felt good! I had lost the vision of a beautiful woman in my life, I thought I did not or could not ever hope to find another woman such as this. I may have to change my ideas. May have to clean up my act a little.
I guess what I'm saying is that life is for the living. And as long as we are alive, there is hope! People don't give up, if you want it, you will have it. Keep trying and striving, use the talents you have and go out and live!

Happy birthday USA

As we approach the celebration of our independence, let us give pause and reflect upon what the few have given so the many may live freely! If you take the time and think about all the brave men and women who have given their lives for us all, pause and realize the things they missed. Growing old with their loved ones, playing catch with the kids and grand kids, comforting their family in times of need, taking care of the people they loved and the list goes on and on, of what they missed for us.
And to the people of Iraq, I hope you understand what the brave men and women are giving to you. The opportunity to live free! And these soldiers will give their lives for you to live free! How precious is freedom? Precious enough for young men and women to offer up their future in exchange for some unknown people in a foreign land's search for freedom. This is a very difficult concept to grasp. I hope you all will take the time and pay homage to those great persons who have offered up their lifes blood that we may walk freely!

Thanks to my friend
